67: Tony Reynolds

Tony Reynolds says covid seriously limited his ability to go into people’s homes so his department was available for emergencies only. 

Seven members of his team, including him, contracted covid. Fortunately, everyone recovered even though symptoms were serious. Many members of his family also contracted covid. 

The RAWA team was not allowed into homes unless it was absolutely necessary. Only essential work with leaks and breaks could be done. He looks forward to a normal process as soon as possible. 

Tony feels his thinking has changed very much. Initially, he minimized the effects of covid until he witnessed how seriously the illness affected him and his friends. He now hopes that the scientists continue to work toward a cure of the illness.
