Food Manufacturing

Jeremy Greely works in food manufacturing, and felt lucky to be working during the entire shutdown. There were ten days at the beginning of the pandemic though when the factory was closed for enhanced cleaning protocols. He was required to work many more hours during the pandemic to cover staff out with illness, and to meet increased demand for supplies from the factory.

Jeremy himself contracted  Covid in August and fortunately recovered, but he missed three weeks from work. He wore a mask at all times in the house as he was terrified that he would pass the disease on to his disabled wife. Jeremy is so grateful that she did not contract it. They both are so appreciative to be fully vaccinated now, and he is  saddened to see that so many people have refused the Covid vaccine.

Jeremy hopes that people will be able to realize that any change begins with the individual. Like a pebble thrown into a pond, just one act of kindness and understanding can ripple outwards from one experience to encompass all the world.
