147: Patrick Polito

Laborer, Quaker Maid Kitchens

Patrick Polito is a laborer for Quaker Maid Kitchens. The demand for food was so great during the pandemic that he and his colleagues were working seven days a week until the company decreased it to six days a week to help alleviate the workers' stress. Some of the new challenges in Patrick’s job during the pandemic were getting accustomed to the mandatory masking policy and enhanced cleaning regimen for the factory equipment. 

Patrick feels strongly that people need to place a higher priority on their own health as well as the health of others. As a community, people have a responsibility to protect one another by staying home if they feel ill, washing their hands, wearing masks, and using good hygiene. His greatest wish is that everyone can just stay safe and healthy.
