Jennifer Matten who works in food manufacturing and marketing for Sweet Street desserts worked from home for much of the shutdown. With a 3-year-old child at home, she was grateful for this opportunity. 

She had an idea to have a giveaway to boost the morale of the community. There were 200k servings given out at First Energy Stadium to 4,000 people who attended. She especially enjoyed seeing children’s faces during this event.

One challenge she faced was being unable to visit her grandmother at Berks Heim. Though she understood why this was necessary, she still found this difficult.

Her wish for the future is that we all understand that we all have so much in common and need to work together.
