33: Jean Eager

Volunteer, Meals on Wheels

Jean Eager is a volunteer who packs and delivers meals for Meals on Wheels for Berks Encore Meals on Wheels. Encore activities stopped during the shutdown with the exception of preparing meals for elderly shut-ins. 

Jean, like many of us, found it very difficult not to hug family members. She knew the isolation was necessary to prevent the spread of the disease but felt it was very difficult. 

She looks forward to being able to go to church again and hopes we learn to respect one another and get along. She believes being kind to others is the most important thing we can do.
