23: David Bluestone

Dentist, Bluestone Dentistry

The owner of Bluestone Dental, Dr. David Bluestone knew countless people who experienced Covid, both professionally and personally.

With full PPE and precautions, he did work through the shutdown. His day starts as a Dad then he transitions to professional life as a dentist and business owner. For two months, he saw only emergencies eventually returning to nonurgent care when restrictions eased.

Juggling needs at home and at the office was the challenge each day. In addition,  his father was a long-hauler covid sufferer who was hospitalized. 

Keeping everyone safe, both staff and family, was Dr. Bluestone’s chief concern. 

He feels very blessed that his patients were very grateful for their care. One blessing he experienced was slowing down and having more time with his kids. He is particularly grateful to see that people are getting vaccinated. 

His hope is that we return to a new normal where we can care for one another.
