Isaac McCrimmon is a line cook who worked throughout the pandemic. He said he and his coworkers dearth with a massive influx for pickups and deliveries of orders. He believes “ordering out” meals eased the stress of many people. 

Covid did hit his family. He did lose several members to covid . Although he and two of his children did not contract covid, it did hit one son and his girlfriend. His children experienced a blend of virtual and in person education. He felt one child enjoyed the introversion of being at home and one child who is more extroverted needed the social interaction that was missing. 

He found that the pandemic gave him compassion for others, making him aware that some people experienced increased economic distress because of the pandemic. His hope is that more people become empathetic at the end of this
