The ‘Touch Is Essential’ exhibit allows you to place your hand in the hand of an essential worker, and hear their story.

May we always be connected.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a loss of many kinds.

One loss that has affected mankind globally is the loss of touch.

The “Touch Is Essential” installation honors all essential workers that have assisted us through these trying times.

Through “Touch is Essential” the hands you could not shake in appreciation, those of essential workers, are here for you.

Re-connect through touch.

The Cracks

…symbolize scaring caused by the emotional, physical, and mental challenges that faced us all. None of us will emerge from this without battling hardship. But these challenges did not stop us. Repaired and stronger than ever, these battle scars represent perseverance, determination, and selflessness.

“The human touch is that little snippet of physical affection that brings a bit of comfort, support, and kindness. It doesn't take much from the one who gives it, but can make a huge difference in the one who receives it.”

Thank you to our outstanding sponsors.
